Where do employees find the best working conditions among German SMEs? The answer is provided by the employer award “Top Job”, which has been organized by compamedia since 2002. For the third time Herrmann Ultraschalltechnik GmbH stood out and was rated a top employer in 2015. Our particular strength is the aspect of “employees development & perspective”. With the Herrmann Academy, the general management has established systematic initial training and advanced vocational training for the entire staff, so that every employee can benefit from this concept.
Our in-house academy provides a comprehensive education plan for the initial training phase of new employees. The first 100 days of employment are meticulously structured and new colleagues are given an insight into the technology and all processes, regardless of their field of employment. More than 70 HU employees with their special knowledge are currently actively engaged as tutors. This factor has also contributed to professionalization of the advanced vocational training process for established employees. Employees are welcome to take part in provided trainings and courses or suggest new options. At the moment, we offer 60 different trainings for general, technical, and integration topics.
Financial independence, integral actions and a focus on people: In a family-run business we think in generations, not in business years. Responsibility towards the community is also mirrored by social acts and family-friendly structures. The top-of-the-year apprentice as well as the DHBW student with best marks is awarded a company car, the Herrmann AZUBIMOBIL (apprentice car) respectively STUDIMOBIL (student car) for 12 months as incentive and special distinction. In this way we honor and appreciate good performance from the start and provide motivation for our young employees.
In this way, Herrmann Ultrasonic also provide active support for employees who are committed in voluntary service, foster cooperation with schools, and leisure facilities for children and teenagers.

This aspect is exactly what the studies at the Duale Hochschule (university of cooperative studies) prepare the students for. Due to a focus on practical approach in combination with current scientific knowledge, this is the ideal start for a successful career. Herrmann Ultrasonic are a qualified partner enterprise of the Duale Hochschule Baden-Württemberg and currently provide four bachelor degree courses in different subjects, each beginning with the fall semester in October.
